Join Startup Uganda
Membership is open to registered organisations that support innovators and entrepreneurs in Uganda. Startup Uganda is a membership association, not a platform — when you join, you join a network of verified ESOs working together under a shared mandate, with access to collective advocacy, shared knowledge, capacity-building programmes, and a growing set of member-only resources through the Experts Portal.
Who can apply
To be considered for membership, your organisation must:
- Be registered as a legal entity in Uganda. A certificate of incorporation is required as part of your application.
- Have been operational for at least one year prior to applying.
- Maintain a physical and accessible workspace.
- Focus on at least one of the following: technology, innovation, creativity, or entrepreneurship.
- Be based and operating in Uganda.

Listing and profile in the Startup Uganda ESO directory.
Inner Circle Meets
Access to Inner Circle Meets: the monthly member-only convening space.
Policy Representation
Representation in Startup Uganda's engagement with government and policy processes.
Capacity Building
Capacity-building programmes and training opportunities under the Enabel programme.
Experts Portal
Access to the Experts Portal and member resources (for paying members).
Channel Visibility
Visibility through Startup Uganda's communications channels: newsletter, social media, blog, and events.

Create a Startup Uganda account.
Complete Form
Complete the membership application form and upload your certificate of incorporation.
Secretariat Review
The Secretariat will review your application within 10 business days.

Verified members are welcomed at the next Inner Circle Meet.
